Well, it's finally in place.
It's only a matter time now that my wages get cut to €1.87, we all start having abortions and I get signed up to the new United States of Europe super mega army.

Is there a story similar to the Boy Who Called Wolf, except there never actually is a wolf in the end and the boy just shuts up?

Can't believe the no campaign got away with spinning such nonsense back in September.

Anyway, the Lisbon Treaty is in force, the world didn't end, and it will most likely not have any significant effect anyone's day to day life unless you're Herman Van Rompuy or Catherine Ashton.

At of the big stuff like changes to the voting procedure doesn't actually come into effect for another few years anyway. Just hope the EU gets the ball rolling fast and starts using all the extra clout they've been talking about before the developing nations get their act together even more so.
