NAMA legislation has been passed in Dáil. However, it must also be approved by the European Commission before the government can get NAMA underway. It will under go rigorous scrutiny to ensure that the legislation is suitable and does not contravene any EU laws, particularly relating to state aid, competition and market distortion. We'll update you on any news that comes from the Commission relating to NAMA.
