Lisbon still hasn't past its final hurdles.

Czech president Klaus is vehemently opposed to his country signing the treaty despite Czech parliamentary approval.
Also, six Czech senators have lodged a complaint with the Czech high court to examine the treaty in order to analyse its affect on Czech sovereignty and whether or not it creates a European Superstate.
The Czech High Court has prioritised the case and a ruling could be expected in about one month at the earliest. The Treaty cannot be fully ratified in the Czech Republic until the high court ruling is announced.

Klaus's continual stalling has been linked to next years British general election which the Conservative party is being tipped to win. If the Lisbon Treaty is not yet ratified by then, Tory leader David Cameron has said he will hold a referendum on the treaty, and would campaign against it. This would be significant in two ways, firstly it would mean that the Lisbon treaty would face a major obstacle, and secondly, it would mean the Cameron led government would have to go back on the signature of an already signed (by Labour) international treaty. This in itself is nearly inconceivable.

Also, today London Mayor, Boris Johnson weighed in on the UK Lisbon referendum debate stating that some key parts of the Treaty could still be put to the people.

The likelihood of it all would be that the Czech President's case is defeated, the Treaty ratified by them, which would leave any future Cameron lead government without an excuse to hold a referendum.

Lastly, the Polish have yet to fully ratify the Treaty, but their full ratification is expected after the Irish Yes to Lisbon.

Cameron is sounding very 'careful' about what he is promising, since our Yes. I'd like to know which bits Boris is referring to.

Well, nobody said it but I will.... Czech president Václav Klaus has done well. If you will read the Lisbon treaty(I presonaly rode about 35 pages of it) you will find out that by it´s ratification we will be very close to forming a superstate and nations will loose their suverenity. Morever, the EU plans to spy on us at every plase, where we are.

They say that they will not spy on people with "normal behaviour", but, who defines, what is a normal behaviour? In Brussels, they can modify the "normal" behaviour from one day to another.(i will post more about this in new topic)
Czech presiden Václav Klaus now can´t even sign the treaty becous it was put to constitucional Court. If the Court will decide that the Lisbon treaty is violating the Czech constitucion, Václav Klaus will NOT sign it. Only thing that Václav Klaus now wants to do and has to do is to hold the ratification process until next Elections in Great Britain.

P.S. I´m from Slovakia (so sorry for my bad english, please) but this situation is touching me and this is the only place on The Internet where can I express my opinion.

I think the Czech court case will fail and Klaus will have no choice but to sign the Lisbon Treaty. They expect a ruling from the the court in just a couple of weeks.

As of today, Klaus asked the Swedish prime minister, whose country is currently holding the presidency of the European Council, to add a foot note to the Lisbon Treaty requesting an opt-out from the Charter of Fundamental rights which the Lisbon Treaty enshrines.

As president he does not have this authority, and I think he is really starting to annoy the Czech Parliament who want to sign the treaty as soon as possible.

If his court case fails, and he doesn't win his foot note compromise it will be interesting to see what Klaus comes up with next to avoid signing the treaty.
